The weather forecast for Peoria (meaning downtown Peoria)is not accurate for Trilogy because that station is many miles away, at a lower elevation, and within the heat island effect of the big city. Therefore I recommend that this website use (or at least add) a much closer weather station such as Sun City West, which is only about three miles away, and does give a good approximation of the weather conditions and forecast for Trilogy.

great job Mike, a big thank you! This will make it easier to stay involved even when we are in England.

Good hike to top of Piestewa today. Thanks for the leadership, Fran. Temp. was 34, but we were quite comfortable, though chilly when at the summit.

On Thursday, Feb. 10, 24 Trilogy Trekkers hiked the 6.8 miles of Spur Cross/Limestone Trail near Cave Creek. Congratulations to everyone for making the entire circuit. The trail had 1200' of elevation gain and very rough footing in many places. Vistas were great and the company was extraordinary as usual. Lunch at Horny Toad wasn't bad, either.

Congratulations to the 11 intrepid and wet hikers that accompanied Ranger Terry to Indian Mesa on the 21st of March. The lake was high, the clouds opened and poured their contents on us. We had to scramble, slide, slip, and muck our way to the top, but everyone had a successful hike. Al was especially happy to have found his wallet. Butch finally got warm after a half hour hot shower. Thanks, Larry, for seeing us through the day!

The end-of-the-year trip to Red Rock near Las Vegas was a huge success! Congrats to the hearty trekkers that summited Mt. Charleston. Great shots of the "cool" hikers, snow and all. The hikers that did the other varied trails came back with some good memories as well. Many thanks to all that made this 4-5 day trip a good one, especially Scott and Denise.
